US firm’s $26.2m Massana buy
Done deals:
- US company Agere Systems has acquired rival electronic circuits company Ireland-based Massana for $26.2 million (£13.3 million)
- Brand management company Charteredbrands has been bought in a buy-in management buy-out led by marketing specialist Philip Craig, and has been renamed Three Sixty Brands
- Associated Dental Practices has bought rival dental services company MediMatch
- Nasmyth Group has purchased JS Chinn Holdings out of administration in order to bolster its design and manufacturing services to the aerospace, automotive and medical sectors. Lloyds TSB backed the £20 million deal
- Salamander Energy Plc, an oil and gas exploration and production company focused on Asia, has acquired interests in certain Indonesian assets from Serica Energy Plc for $52.75 million (£26.7 million)
