Trio buy ServiceSource

IT professionals George Buchan, Mark Hesketh and James Bruce have completed the management buy-out of ServiceSource Europe’s multi-vendor division in a deal backed by RBS Invoice Finance.

The transaction sees Singapore-based electronics giant Flextronics exit its investment.

The team will adopt the ServiceSource Europe name and relocate to Warrington. ServiceSource’s remaining operations will be renamed and integrated into the Flextronics group.

RBS Invoice Finance provided funding. Associate director Mike Dearden says: “George, Mark and James form a strong management team and they all have considerable industry knowledge having worked in the sector for many years. Under their direct guidance I expect the company to perform strongly.”

The multi-vendor division supplies computer spare parts to third-party computer maintenance companies for out-of-warranty repairs covering PC brands, including Hewlett Packard, Compaq, Dell, IBM and Toshiba.

The Royal Bank of Scotland Group is one of the world's leading financial services companies providing a range of retail and corporate banking, financial markets, consumer finance, insurance, and wealth management services. RBS operates in Europe, the US and Asia Pacific serving more than 36 million personal customers and employing more than 140,000 people
