Hasgrove moves into Europe
Acquisition hungry media group Hasgrove plc has merged its three digital businesses to create Amaze, a new marketing and technology company. The merger is set to strengthen Hasgrove’s marketing and technology services offering to larger international clients.
Since it was founded in 2004 by TV presenter Rob McLoughlin and the former head of Deloitte’s Manchester operations Godfrey Taylor, the company has pursued an aggressive buy-and-build acquisition strategy.
Over the next two years, Hagrove will search out targets in London, France and Germany to build up a European communications company operating in high growth niche areas, such as corporate affairs, digital communications and design through organic and acquisitive growth.
The company posted strong results in May, with profits soaring 44 per cent to £6.2 million on a turnover up 42 per cent to £21.7 million.
