Height for Hires'
new lift
Done deals:
- Irish lifting, crane and telehandler rental company Height for Hire has purchased a majority stake in Strojne Centrum Slovakia, an aerial lift hire firm
- Petrochemical, oil and gas support services company Denholm Oilfield Services has bought Valvecare Engineering in order to increase its shipping, logistics, seafood, industrial and oilfield offering
- 247recruit has acquired Niche Recruitment in a bid to bolster its student and seasonal recruitment services
- Champagne Indage has purchased Darlington Wines and Corby Bottlers plc from administrator KPMG to create an enlarged wine supplier. The new company will be named Indage
- Insurance group Autoline has bought Coleraine insurance and financial services broker James Campbell & Son
Deals in the pipeline:
- Engineering group FKI plc is set to be taken over by US investor Melrose Investments for £478 million on July 1
- HLW Commercial Lawyers has merged with rival commercial solicitor McCombie & Co
- Man Group has agreed to acquire 25 per cent of Bermuda-based Nephila Capital for $50 million cash in order to bolster its investment management offering
