• British audio and video manufacturer Meridian Audio has acquired New York-based media server company Sooloos for an undisclosed sum

• UK-based Vizimo, whose next-generation guidance system enables users to manage and watch TV and video content on a multi-media platform, has acquired London-based TIOTI, an online video guide start-up. The price was not disclosed
