• A subsidiary of international energy services company John Wood Group has acquired Benchmark Global for an undisclosed sum

• AIM-listed coin dealer and auctioneers Noble Investments has bought Apex Philatelics for £1.25 million

• TT Electronics, a sensor and electronic component company, has acquired the majority business of Semelab for £9.8 million

• Birmingham-based accountancy practice Andersons KBS has been bought by Smith Cooper for an undisclosed amount

• Imtech, a technical service provider, has acquired business intelligence specialist Stas

• Yorkshire-based printers Raiseprint and Millprint have merged operations in order to cut costs and diversify into new markets

• Microwave radio and satellite company Vislink has reached an agreement to acquire Pacific Microwave Research for up to $17 million (£9.1 million) dependant on performance

• Fortis Bank, Old Mutual and Tianjin TEDA Investment Holding have entered into an agreement for Old Mutual to acquire the 49 per cent stake that Fortis holds in ABN AMRO TEDA Fund Management, a Chinese asset management joint venture, for a cash consideration of approximately €165 million (£130.7 million)

• US-based private equity company Paine and Partners is planning to buy more companies in Germany, adding to its recent acquisition of gas springs maker Stabilus

• Deloitte and Touche in Canada has signed an agreement with Ottawa-based Scott Rankin and Gardiner to merge the two firms
