LAP sells London building
for £14.9 million

Done deals:

  • London & Associated Properties has sold a retail and office building in London to an undisclosed party for £14.9 million in cash
  • Ad agency Creation ADM has been bought by its management from Alvaston Media Plc
  • Synergy Plus has acquired insurance broker CUS Underwriting as part of its plan to build an insurance group


In the pipeline:

  • Agricultural and retail group Wynnstay has agreed to up its stake in animal feed manufacturer Welsh Feed Producers to own the company outright
  • Rathbone Brothers, a provider of fund and wealth management services, has agreed to sell its offshore trust businesses in Jersey and Singapore to their managers. Funding is being provided by Dunedin
  • Schroders is to buy E.Sun Investment Trust from E.Sun Financial Holding for £8.6 million in cash
  • Gourmet Restaurants is to pay £4.4 million to Clapham House for the Bombay Bicycle Club, which comprises three restaurants and 15 kitchens
  • The management team of TMF, a provider of outsourced management and accountancy services, has announced plans to buy the company from Silverfleet Capital with the backing of Doughty Hanson for £593 million
