MD speeds off with
tyre specialist
The Deeside-based commercial tyre operation of a car tyre and battery specialist has been bought by its managing director.
The acquired business will now trade as Tyremaster after Mike Carroll took control of the operation following a £320,000 deal.
The subsidiary was sold by Rhyl Tyre & Battery in a transaction backed by the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Tyremaster has 12 employees and will operate from the Deeside Industrial Estate and Gaerwen on Anglesey.
The company provides a commercial tyre breakdown service along the A55 corridor and the North Wales coast. Its clients include haulage chains as well as businesses in the agricultural and construction sectors.
