TVC buys £14.9m Media stake
Done deals:
- Investment holding company TVC Holdings Plc has purchased 11 per cent in UTV Media Plc, a radio and TV business, for £14.9 million
- Private equity firm the Riverside Company has bought SPX Air Filtration, a manufacturer and distributor of air filtration products worldwide
- IT services company Electronic Business Systems has been acquired by its management
- Aberdeen International, an investment and merchant banking company, has taken its stake in oil and gas operator Longford Energy to 12.7 per cent
- Syntopix, a developer of treatments for skin conditions, is set to raise £1.5 million through a share placing to fund its research and business development
- Seaham Investments, the investment vehicle of food wholesaler Crown Crest, has said it now owns shares or had received the backing of shareholders totalling 51.2 per cent of discount retailer Instore
- Investor Ingenious media is set to invest £1 million to form a new company, CFDT, in order to promote the Creamfields festival
