Done deals:

• Dublin-based Greencore Group plc has bought a rival US food producer Home Made Brand Foods, for up to $54 million (£27.5 million)

• An investor in publishing and marketing, Interactive Publishing plc, has purchased the intellectual property rights for Attitude, the UK’s best selling gay magazine

• Welsh chemicals group Warwick International has bought Kuala Lumpur’s GME Chemicals

• Warburg Pincus, a US-based private equity firm, has acquired industrial services provider Safetykleen Europe from CCMP Capital Advisors, for some £565 million

• US-based networking devices company Digi has purchased Sarian Systems for some $30.5 million (£15.5 million) in a bid to extend its commercial wireless offering

• Berkmann Wine Cellars has acquired rival wine and spirits distributor Laymont & Shaw

Deals in the pipeline:

• Mexican chemicals group Mexichem has agreed to buy a subsidiary of non-woven fabric producer Fiberweb plc, Brazil-based Fiberweb Bidim Industria e Comercio, for Brazilian Real 55.5 million (£16.6 million)

• Law firm Sewell, Mullings & Logie is set to merge with Stone King Solicitors this July
