• ISS UK, a diversified catering, cleaning, property and office facilities group, has bought corporate front of house specialist Area21

• Galleon Holdings plc, an IP owner and developer in the entertainment sector, has acquired China-based Changsha High and Yunbo, interactive wireless service providers, for $3 million (£1.54 million)

• Swedish technology group Indutrade has purchased Chesterfield-based piston ring manufacturer Precision Products
