In today’s headlines, commercial law firm Davies Arnold Cooper has acquired City legal practice KSB Law and property developer London Town plc has added a chain of 60 pubs to its portfolio via the acquisition of GRS Inns

 
Done deals:

  • CB Richard Ellis Group has strengthened its leading position in the UK commercial property services market with the purchase of Grenville Smith & Duncan

  • Commercial law firm Davies Arnold Cooper has expanded its offering with the acquisition of City legal practice KSB Law LLP, which comprises more than 60 lawyers and support staff

  • Laboratory group Eurofins has expanded its reach into East Anglia with the acquisition of Lincolne Sutton & Wood, a Norwich-based food and environmental testing firm

  • Property developer London Town plc has purchased GRS Inns, a chain of 60 unbranded leasehold pubs, for £4.3 million


Deals in the pipeline:

  • Drug delivery specialist The Medical House plc (TMH) is to dispose of its loss-making subcontract engineering subsidiary Eurocut to Semes for up to £3.7 million, enabling TMH to grow its drug delivery division

  • Reuters is looking to acquire London-based data technology company Gissing Group with gross assets amounting to £1.8 million

  • Qinetiq is to purchase Australian defence consulting firms, Ball Solutions Group and Novare Services, for a combined consideration of £9 million
