Advanced Computer Software (ACS), a provider of IT services to the healthcare sector, has bought social care specialist Cerrus for £370,000.
The deal comes weeks after ACS acquired COA Software, which focuses on accounting, human resources and business performance support, for £100 million from private equity firm Alchemy Partners.
Surrey-based Cerrus provides management and administration systems for the healthcare sector. The company's main product, Saturn, has more than 35,000 users and services over 60 healthcare providers in the UK and Ireland.
In the six months ending August 2009, ACS generated revenue of £11 million and pre-tax profits of £1.9 million.
