Green Compliance acquires CEA Link
Energy consultancy Green Compliance has acquired South Yorkshire-based company CEA Link for up to £1 million.
CEA Link provides a software platform for energy certification and other compliance services. Founder Simon West will remain with the business as managing director.
John Prowse, CEO of Green Compliance, said: 'We have been in discussions with CEA Link since late last year and this bolt on acquisition... will help to establish a strong position for the company within the energy services marketplace.'
The deal comes after Green Compliance acquired energy management businesses Innovative HIP and Commercial Energy Performance Pack in April 2009 for £720,000. In the six months ending September 2009, the company reported revenue of £346,000 and pre-tax losses of £401,000.
