Design Logix merges with SDS
Preston-based web agency Design Logix has merged with vehicle tracking specialist SDS Technology Group. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Design Logix provides a range of services such as web hosting, web design and e-mail marketing. Current clients include HSBC, Bordeaux Index as well as the BBC and the NHS.
SDS Technology, also based in Preston, provides satellite navigation technology to help track fleets of vehicles and has clients in the UK, Switzerland and Denmark. The deal is expected to enable the company to expand into key markets in Europe and the US.
Andy Harman, director of SDS Technology, said: 'The main business is vehicle tracking; previously, the software element was outsourced. The merger has allowed that to be brought in-house. It will also give us more flexibility for our clients.'
