Ingram Micro acquires CCD
US-based technology distributor Ingram Micro has acquired Computacentre Distribution (CCD) for an undisclosed sum.
CCD is a subsidiary of Reading-based IT company Computacentre UK. The acquired company has 40 employees, who will join the UK operations of Ingram Micro. CCD's general manager Jon Bunyard will report to Matt Sanderson, managing director of Ingram Micro UK.
Alain Maquet, president of Ingram Micro EMEA, said: 'CCD is the largest distributor of HP's server and storage products in the UK and offers several software lines that are critical to the needs of enterprise customers.'
In the six months ending June, CCD reported revenue of £46.5 million.
