Manchester-based recruitment business Air Energi Group has been sold in a £30 million management buy-out backed by Zeus Private Equity.

Air Energi executive chairman, Ian Langley, led the deal along with CEO, Duncan Gregson, and the support of the company’s senior management team.  

The company specialises in the oil and gas industry and operates from regional headquarters in the Americas, former Soviet Union, Europe, the Middle East, Australasia and Asia Pacific. The business was established in 1987 and employs 120 staff.
