- Syniverse Technologies, a Florida-based telecommunications company, has acquired the assets of Florida-based rival Wireless Solutions International for an undisclosed sum.
- California-based technology company Oracle has acquired Virtual Iron, a US-based designer of server virtualisation software, for an undisclosed sum.
- Sword Group, a provider of business applications to the world’s largest companies, has disposed of a 77.5 per cent stake in its Scottish services operation to its management for an initial £27.8 million in cash. Read more
- Xchanging, a London-based professional services firm, has acquired the FondsServiceBank (FSB) business unit, the Germany-based investment funds administration business of DAB bank AG, for up to €21.4 million (£19.1 million) in cash. Read more
- Lyris, Inc., a US-based online marketing company, has acquired Facultas, a UK-based email marketing firm, for an undisclosed sum. Read more
- Evaluate Technologies, a London-based provider of technology for the financial services industry, has acquired Network Data’s online mortgage sourcing business, mortgageLinked. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
- Europa Capital, a UK independent real estate fund management group, has acquired Berlin shopping centre Forum Steglitz from Hammerson Plc, a FTSE-100 real estate investment trust, for €70 million (£62.7 million). The centre was valued at €93.1 million at 31 December 2008. Read more
