• AVISA Aviation Safety Systems Ltd, an East Sussex-based aerospace and safety consultancy, has acquired 33 per cent of West Sussex-based rival aeroDAC for an undisclosed sum.

• Loss Management Group, a specialist in handling insurance claims for lost or stolen jewellery and collectables, has acquired rival E-Register for £300,000 from Helphire Group Plc. Read more

• London-based private equity firm Advent International has acquired 30 per cent of CETIP S.A. - Balcao Organizado de Ativos e Derivativos, a Brazil-based central depository for private fixed-income securities and over-the-counter derivatives for BRL360m (£116 million).

• St Louis-based battery-maker Energizer Holdings Inc. has acquired S.C. Johnson & Son Inc.’s shave preparation businesses, Edge and Skintimate, for US$275 million (£182 million).

• Equiniti, a West Sussex-based provider of shareholder and employee services, has acquired ICS Computing, a Belfast-based software and services provider, for an undisclosed sum.

• Galliford Try Plc, an Uxbridge-based construction and housebuilding group, has agreed to buy the residential development assets of Wright Homes (Hull) out of administration for £7 million in cash. Read more
