• Shanghai-based outsourcing firm Virtuos has acquired Chinese audio specialist Best Sound Production for an undisclosed sum

• London-based Bunzl Plc, the international distribution group, has acquired rivals WK Thomas & Co and Industrial Supplies from King UK, which is in administration. The terms of the deal remain undisclosed. Read more

• Quintain Estates & Development Plc has sold St David’s House, a six-storey commercial and retail centre in Cardiff, for £9.3 million, generating a profit of £4 million. Read more

• London-based private equity firm 3i has made a €65 million (£61 million) investment in European medical diagnostics company Labco.

• French broadcasting company Audemat Group has acquired the broadcast equipment activities of Northern Ireland-based APT. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Read more
