Addison Lee acquires Premier Transport
Done Deals
- London mini cab company Addison Lee has acquired the three connected companies that form Premier Transport Group. The cash-and-shares deal will create a combined operation with an annual turnover in excess of £118 million.
- Jesse Shirley & Son, the Staffordshire-based pottery firm, has been sold out of administration by KPMG to a new company called Hajco 377, securing the future of 40 jobs. The financial details of the transaction have not been revealed.
- Denby Pottery, the Derbyshire-based ceramics business has undergone a management buy-out. The size of the deal has not been disclosed.
- Monitise, whose technology enables banking transactions to be carried out over mobile phones, has secured $1.5 million (£1 million) to expand into Africa. Read more
- WorldVest Equity, Inc., a global merchant bank, has acquired the corporate finance operations of Corporate Capital Group, a specialist in capital-raising transactions for both public and private companies. The details of the deal remains undisclosed.
