Lyris acquires Facultas
Lyris, Inc., a US-based online marketing company, has acquired Facultas, a UK-based email marketing firm, for an undisclosed sum.
Luis Riveras, Lyris CEO, said: “We have seen tremendous momentum for our Lyris HQ integrated marketing suite in the US and recognise a large opportunity in the European market for a SaaS-based, online marketing solution.”
Riveras added: “The services expertise of the Facultas team combined with the new executive talent in the UK provides Lyris with a strong presence in Europe and will afford extended resources and market knowledge to new and existing Lyris customers worldwide.”
In the first three months of 2008, Lyris reported a five per cent increase in revenues to $10.9 million (£7.2 million) and pre-tax profits of $1.3 million.
