Staffline buys recruitment firm
Staffline Recruitment Group plc, a recruitment and outsourced HR services provider, has bought Onsite Partnership, a Market Harborough-based recruitment company.
On completion £2 million was paid in cash from Staffline’s existing resources with additional cash payments due in the next three years depending on the acquired business’ performance.
Onsite was bought from its founder Brian Jordan as part of Staffline’s post-AIM admission strategy of adding complementary companies to its portfolio to improve its service offering.
Staffline’s managing director, Andy Hogarth, said this is the group’s first acquisition since it joined AIM. “Onsite Partnership’s business complements our existing operations and will, we believe, provide us with additional cross-selling opportunities and a greater geographical reach, in line with our stated strategy for growth.
“We believe that this represents an exciting opportunity both for Staffline and for Onsite Partnership, we look forward to welcoming them into the Staffline fold and working together to continue to grow the group, whilst maintaining the exceptional standards of customer service for which we are known,” he added.
Staffline, which is headquartered in Nottingham, supplies blue collar temporary and contract staff and a fully outsourced service, managing the temporary recruitment function of its clients on their premises.
The group’s Techsearch subsidiary specialises in temporary and permanent engineering, IT, HR and consumer goods placements operating from four branches.
Onsite Partnership, which was established in 1999, generates more than £10 million a year providing staff to primarily blue-chip companies in the distribution and logistics industries.
