Wagon in £24 million takover
Sonas Group, an automotive stampings manufacturer for cars, vans and trucks, has bought the automotive business of car components group Wagon plc.
The £24 million deal was backed by asset-based lender Landsbanki Commercial Finance.
The acquired business, which has plants in Birmingham, Wantage and France, employs more than 1,000 people and generates an annual turnover of £100 million.
