Elavation gets a lift with Safeline
Elavation, a Milton Keynes-based rental company for powered lifts, has acquired the powered access rental division of Safeline Access Solutions for an undisclosed sum.
The disposal fits into Safeline’s strategy to focus on its industrial and petrochemical client base.
Stuart McClurg, managing director of Safeline, said: “The synergy between both businesses made the acquisition a seamless fit. This natural development means that we can develop our core business at a time when there is huge innovation and growth in our industry, and Elavation can develop the business that we have built. Our fleet was developed for the industrial sector and includes many specialist narrow access and track drive machines on contract rental.”
Mani Gonzalez of Elavation commented: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Elavation to develop its business in this notoriously difficult marketplace, with an existing customer base and innovative machines that will command premium rates at a time when there is increasing pressure on hire rates for regular machines.”
