Airsprung in Hush-A-Bye deal

- Airsprung, a Wiltshire-based supplier of manufactured and imported furniture, has acquired Hush-A-Bye Ltd, a Birmingham-based manufacturer and supplier of mattresses, for £300,000 in cash.
- Newcastle-based Dewjo’c Architects has merged with London rival Devereux Architects. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Read more

- Wales-based ceramics-maker Portmeirion has acquired rivals the Royal Worcester and Spode from their administrators for £3.2 million.
- Thai stockbroker Syrus Securities has acquired the broking units of rivals ACL Bank and Finansa for an undisclosed sum.
- Credit availability is on the rise, according to the most recent Credit Conditions Survey conducted by the Bank of England. Read more
