Accessories 4 Technology's £4m boost
Video gaming accessory business Accessories 4 Technology (A4T) has secured £4 million from Royal Bank of Scotland to drive its expansion plans.
The Bolton-based business, which was launched three years ago to produce wheels, golf clubs and fishing rods for the video games industry, will use the seven-figure sum for working capital as it adds further licenses to its portfolio.
A4T currently supplies speaker systems for Wii consoles as well as licensed products for the Sony PlayStation.
Andrew Shephard, founder and managing director, said: “We are one of the leading gaming accessory providers in the UK and our goal is to build upon this success and become a major player on the world stage.
“As we secure and increasing number of quality licenses, it is essential to have the necessary funding structure in place to cover the cost of our operation,” he added.
