Redstone acquires Comunica
IT and telecoms provider Redstone has strengthened its business after it bought Comunica as part of a strategy to expand its services.
The acquired business, which specialises in networking, communications infrastructures and project management services, was bought in a deal that could be worth up to £22 million funded by Redstone and through a share placing.
The vendors were advised on the legal issues of the disposal by John North of Royds, who has advised the company for almost 20 years. The firm’s team included Richard Heath and Chris Batten.
North, partner and head of the firm’s corporate department, said he has seen the company grow from small beginnings to a major player in the network and communications infrastructure market.
