Higgins buys insurance rival
Higgins Insurance & Investments has become one of the largest firms in the Northern Irish market after it bought one of its rivals.
The independent broker and financial adviser has acquired commercial brokerage Laing Markey Lyness.
The acquirer, which owns insurance broker SUREQUOTE, has doubled its client portfolio with this transaction and now has more than 50 employees.
