  • Petrochemical, oil and gas support services company Denholm Oilfield Services has bought Valvecare Engineering in order to increase its shipping, logistics, seafood, industrial and oilfield offering
  • 247recruit has acquired Niche Recruitment in a bid to bolster its student and seasonal recruitment services
  • Champagne Indage has purchased Darlington Wines and Corby Bottlers plc from administrator KPMG to create an enlarged wine supplier. The new company will be named Indage
  • Insurance group Autoline has bought Coleraine insurance and financial services broker James Campbell & Son

  • Engineering group FKI plc is set to be taken over by US investor Melrose Investments for £478 million on July 1
  • HLW Commercial Lawyers has merged with rival commercial solicitor McCombie & Co
  • Man Group has agreed to acquire 25 per cent of Bermuda-based Nephila Capital for $50 million cash in order to bolster its investment management offering
