Done deals:
- Barclays Bank plc has acquired Goldfish, a credit card business, for some £35 million
- Servoca plc, an outsourced and recruitment services provider, has acquired Academics Holdings for up to £7 million in order to expand its services
- RPS Group plc, a construction, natural resources and environmental consultancy, has acquired Rudall Blanchard Associates Group, a consultancy to the oil and gas industry, for £6 million cash
- The Capita Group plc has bought HFR Holdings and Lancaster Insurance Services for approximately £16.5 million, bolstering its insurance intermediary business
- Sage Group plc, a global supplier of business management software and services, has acquired construction and support services firm Hallco 1390 for £21 million cash
Deals in the pipeline:
- John Menzies plc has agreed to acquire Swedish company Novia Sverige for £8.75 million, in a bid to expand its group handling services
