• EKAY plc has bought WFCA Integrated in order to expand its marketing agency. The deal follows a placing by the acquirer, which raised £2.5 million

• Solo Group Services has bought Blue Diamond Service, to bolster the diversified cleaning group

• Copyright management and production company Target Entertainment has bought drama production company Greenlight Rights

• Private equity house Patron Capital Partners has acquired a 29 per cent stake in Powerleague Group plc, an operator of five-a-side football centres, for £23.1 million

• Riverdale Publishing, a greeting card business, has gone into administration through BDO Stoy Hayward

Deals in the pipeline:

• Contis Group is set to acquire credEcard Group plc after making an estimated offer of £2.2 million cash. The acquirer is a new company set up by the senior management of credEcard’s parent company, ID Data Group plc. The firms offer pre-paid card and smart card services respectively

• Diversified security solutions group SectorGuard plc has agreed to acquire ManGuard for up to £6.5 million, in a bid to increase its services
