Today’s deal headlines

Done deals:

Marketing services company Motivcom has acquired Protravel and Protravel TB, travel and entertainment-related promotional services firms, for £1 million and £150,000 respectively

Ventilation equipment manufacturer Flamgard has bought Calidair, a road tunnel and nuclear facilities equipment supplier, for an undisclosed fee

Financial advisory service Powell Financial Management has undergone a management buy-out for an undisclosed sum

Technical contract staffing provider Morson has increased its offering to the civil structural, power and construction engineering sectors with the £1.4 million purchase of Stockport Rosta

Intellego has acquired Copia for an undisclosed sum in a bid to increase its e-learning services

Office recruitment firm Huntress Group has undergone an MBO for an undisclosed amount, backed by Japan-based financial services group Nomura

Educational Development International, an accredited qualifications and assessment services provider, has strengthened its offering with the acquisition of ASET Group for up to £2.9 million

Deals in the pipeline:

Alpha Pyrenees, a Guernsey-based property investor, is set to increase its portfolio with the purchase of two mixed-use sites in France for some €29 million (£20.7 million)

Buy-out and buy-in investment specialist Candover has agreed to buy France-based Alma Consulting Group, a cost reduction and tax recovery firm, for undisclosed terms
