Ennstone, a supplier of a diverse range of products and services to the construction, building, drainage and rail sectors, has acquired a purchase option for a US firm. The firm has also acquired limestone quarry owner The Boyne Bay Lime Company and concrete block manufacturer DW Gordon Bricks for a total £4.6 million

Dental implant company Neoss has completed a £10 million round of funding from venture capital firm MM Ventures, its sixth from the investor

Vitesse Media, a publishing, events and multimedia company, has strengthened and diversified its offering with the purchase of IT-specialised B2B publisher Infoconomy, for some £770,000

Tawa, a non-life insurance run-off consolidator, is set to bolster its portfolio with the acquisition of US-Based PXRE Reinsurance Company for some $114 million (£54.6 million)

Caterer Daniel Gill is to merge his Dine Services with Diana Naish’s At Home Catering firm

Consumer healthcare company SSL International is set to buy Orthaheel, a manufacturer and distributor of healthcare products to the consumer markets, for an initial AUS$32.9 million (£14.57 million) cash
