Experian buys marketing analytics specialist
Global information company Experian has bought The pH Group, a business-to-business marketing analytics specialist.
This acquisition complements Experian’s existing portfolio of business information and marketing services after buying the data provider to the financial services, IT and telecoms sectors in the UK and France.
Experian received legal advice from Halliwells while the vendor’s financial adviser was Europa Partners, which was led by partner David von Simson.
“The sale of people businesses always pose particular issues, which can derail a transaction even at a late stage,” von Simson said. “Europa Partners is itself an employee-owned firm and that has led us to work on a number of deals involving other professional service firms.”
