Marketing and communications group Hasgrove has bolstered its services with the acquisition of Pavilion Communication Services for up to £9.9 million

Oamps has strengthened its insurance brokerage operations after buying Keith Johnson & Co for an undisclosed amount

Medical devices supplier Zimed has been bought by its management for up to £5 million

Public transport group Go Ahead has bought a bus business run by private car hire firm Stanley Taxis for £1 million

Glen Electric has boosted its electrical manufacturing and engineering business by acquiring Applied Energy Holdings. The terms of the deal were undisclosed

Luxury travel group Western & Oriental has purchased luxury villa operator Villa Select for an initial £2.5 million

Pub, restaurant and hotel operator Emporia Leisure has acquired Tudor mansion Mitton Hall for £3 million. The property is to be converted into a hotel

Venture capitalist Imperial Innovations has invested £375,000 in electrical motors and generators developer EVO Electric, raising its stake to 38%

InterQuest Group has added to its IT recruitment services with the purchase of e-CRM People for up to £4.95 million

Barclays Private Equity has acquired a majority stake in Camden Corporate Fleet Services, the corporate division of auto trader Camden Motors Group, for £27 million

Rainbow Telecom has bolstered its telecom services with the purchase of GiGiTech for undisclosed terms

IT security provider Global Secure Systems has acquired its smaller rival Peapod for undisclosed terms

Intertek, a provider of quality and safety services to a range of industries, has completed its 15^th deal of the year, acquiring German-based food testing laboratory biodata for €3.6 million (£2.5 million)

Property investor Rugby Investment Trust has added to its portfolio with the acquisition of JRPA Properties for 17.7 million

Early stage investor Gresham House is looking to sell two of its property sites for £11.9 million

Alphyra Holdings, a Dublin-based electronic payments firm, is set to conduct a reverse takeover of UK cash machine company Cardpoint for undisclosed terms
