Reckitt Benckiser, which makes household cleaning products, is to sell its prescription skincare business Hermal to Spanish pharmaceutical company Laboratories Almirall for £255 million
Gladedale is to acquire rival Ben Bailey for £84 million, adding to its house building portfolio
Construction company Holloway White Allom has been put up for sale for more than £50 million
Microprocessor technology developer Axeon is to acquire Swiss-based power tool battery pack supplier Ristma for £5.1 million
Rochford Thompson, an Optical recognition manufacturer for passports, is to be acquired by diversified technology company 3M for undisclosed terms
Hotel Group Balfour is looking for a buyer for its Malmaison and Hotel du Vin operations for about £700 million, which also includes 19 boutique hotels and a further seven sites due to open by the end of the year
Capital Pub Company plans to double its chain of 23 pubs during the next five years, with up to five new sites opening this year
Freshwater is to raise £4 million in a flotation, funding the expansion of its public relations and marketing business
