FirstCare raises £4 million
FirstCare Health and Absence, an absence management firm for public and private sector organisations, has undergone a private placing that has raised £4 million.
Haslers Corporate Finance was appointed as reporting accountant to the deal in late November, 2006. Partner Simon Blake has worked with founder Alan Aldridge since FirstCare was founded.
Aldridge contacted Haslers at short notice after Firstcare’s auditor said it was conflicted and could not be reporting accountant to the transaction. Haslers then prepared both long form and working capital reports for potential investors. The team delivered the reports within deadline, and the deal was completed before Christmas 2006.
London-based FirstCare works in sectors such as healthcare, rail, utilities, retail and professional services.
