T4 Media snaps up Alvern
Outdoor advertising specialist T4 Media has acquired Alvern Media. The seven-strong team at Alvern will relocate to T4 Media’s new headquarters in London in early 2010.
Founded by Mark Stanley, Alvern specialises in promoting brands at petrol stations. The company reported turnover of £4.5 million for its most recent year-end and has a network of more than 40 fuel retailing partners spanning 4,500 forecourts throughout the UK and Ireland.
Alvern approached BCMS Corporate, which specialises in selling privately owned businesses, to identify a buyer. Under the terms of the deal, Stanley will join the board of T4 Media with immediate effect.
Sunita Meigh, deal leader at BCMS Corporate, observes that both companies offer ‘complimentary and innovative products in the outdoor advertising sector’.
Stanley adds that the combined client list of the two companies will provide ‘the most cost effective as well as compelling ways to reach millions of people every day’.
