AVISA buys aeroDAC

- AVISA Aviation Safety Systems Ltd, an East Sussex-based aerospace and safety consultancy, has acquired 33 per cent of West Sussex-based rival aeroDAC for an undisclosed sum.
- Loss Management Group, a specialist in handling insurance claims for lost or stolen jewellery and collectables, has acquired rival E-Register for £300,000 from Helphire Group Plc. Read more
- Elavation, a Milton Keynes-based rental company for powered lifts, has acquired the powered access rental division of Safeline Access Solutions for an undisclosed sum. Read more
- Dublin-based tropical food importer Fyffes Plc has acquired a pineapple plantation and related production assets from Agroindustries Golden West SA in Panama for up to $8 million (£5.3 million). Read more
- London-based private equity firm Advent International has acquired 30 per cent of CETIP S.A. - Balcao Organizado de Ativos e Derivativos, a Brazil-based central depository for private fixed-income securities and over-the-counter derivatives for BRL360m (£116 million).
- St Louis-based battery-maker Energizer Holdings Inc. has acquired S.C. Johnson & Son Inc.’s shave preparation businesses, Edge and Skintimate, for US$275 million (£182 million).
- Equiniti, a West Sussex-based provider of shareholder and employee services, has acquired ICS Computing, a Belfast-based software and services provider, for an undisclosed sum.
- Galliford Try Plc, an Uxbridge-based construction and housebuilding group, has agreed to buy the residential development assets of Wright Homes (Hull) out of administration for £7 million in cash. Read more
- London-based NHS healthcare software specialist Advanced Computer Software (ACS) has agreed to acquire Business Services Group, an IT outsourcing and networking company. ACS is offering BSG shareholders 19.11p in cash per BSG share, with a combined value of £15.5 million. Read more
