• ITE Group plc, an exhibition manager to emerging markets, has acquired Siberian Fair for $12.1 million (£6.1 million), in order to increase its offering in Siberia

• Sports marketing company Essentially Group has purchased Sportseen, an operator of stadium perimeter advertising, for up to £9 million

• CareTech Holdings plc has bought Beacon for up to £22.5 million, in a bid to expand its learning disability care services

• Wind power developer RidgeWind has acquired a portfolio of projects from co-developer Wind Prospects, and has invested £18 million in the Bagmoor Wind Farm

• US-based Highland Capital Partners, an early stage investor, has led a £6 million secondary funding round in online used car retailer Autoquake, alongside Accel Partners

• Health and wellbeing consultancy PPC Worldwide has purchased Focus EAP in the UK and OSA Group in Australia, backed by Clydesdale Bank

• John Thompson & Sons has bought rival Northern Ireland animal feed producer AB Agri

• Security and cleaning company LPM has acquired InterCity Group for some £5 million, in order to bolster its cleaning operations
