• IMS Maxims plc, a software provider for the healthcare market, has bought Preview Health in a bid to strengthen its offering

• Interactive gaming company NetPlay TV plc has added Bingos.com to its portfolio, for £6.25 million

• Radio group GCap Media has acquired a majority stake in local social networking site welovelocal.com for £450,000

• Career advisory services Savile Holdings plc is set to acquire IDDAS for some £319,000 as it looks to strengthen its offering to bluechip clients

• Ultra Electronics Holdings plc is set to acquire Canadian firm Magneto Inductive Systems for $22 million (£10.9 million), in order to expand its line of military products

• Bestport Ventures has invested a further £850,000 in mobile sport gambling technology Mfuse, bringing the total invested in the company to £2 million
