• Salt Lake City-based O.C. Tanner has completed the acquisition of Procurement International for undisclosed terms, adding to its staff incentive and reward product business

• Midlands-based water treatment provider Severn Trent Services, based in Pennsylvania, has acquired water disinfection technology manufacturer Quay Technologies for an undisclosed sum

• County Cork-based Goldcrop has acquired Power Seeds and Hardware from food group Origin Enterprises plc of Dublin for an undisclosed sum, adding to its seed producing business

• The UK’s leading specialist care provider for adults, Care Principals, is to be bought by corporate finance advisory firm The Delta Fund from private equity investment firm 3i for £270 million

• Mobile communications engineer Vislink plc is to acquire communication systems supplier Western Technical Services for up to $5.5 million (£2.7million) cash, depending on performance

• Management and consultancy firm WSP Group plc is to acquire environmental project management consultancy Fitzwalter Group of Sydney for A$ 4.5 million (£1.9 million)

• Apax is reported to have approached Emap regarding the acquisition of the magazine and radio group's B2B publications
