In today's news round up, deals signed off include Tenon Group's acquisition of business and recovery specialist Unity Business services for £10.4 million.

Mattioli Woods plc, the specialist pensions consultancy, has acquired the entire issued share capital of Pension Consulting Lyd for £1.9 million

Management consultancy WSP Group plc has announced its intentions to acquire the Lincolne Scott Group, a leading Australian engineering and environmental business, for £9.8 million

Tenon Group plc has acquired the businesses of recovery and insolvency specialist Unity Business Services, which include Unity Debt Solutions, Unity IFA and Jackson Jolliffe Cork, for £10.4 million

Global Oceanic Carriers, a provider of marine transport services, has acquired dry bulk carrier Handymax for £18.3 million. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in August

Edinburgh-based investment bank Quayle Munro has acquired corporate finance boutique New Boathouse Capital for £7.5 million

DTZ, a leading global property adviser, has acquired the business and assets of property consultant Donaldsons for £39.8 million, with a deferred consideration of £8.8 million

Security specialist Eruma has acquired lighting systems supplier Illuminex for an undisclosed sum

Retail and wholesale group Musgrave has acquired wholesale company J&J Haslett for an undisclosed sum

Paper merchant Antalis has acquired Map Merchant Group for £258 million, creating Europe’s largest paper merchant

NVM Private Equity (NVM) has invested £7 million in the management buy out of building services consultants Foreman Roberts
