A Yorkshire company that has developed a software package to help businesses reduce the energy they use has received a six-figure sum, according to reports.
REM Probe was given £250,000 by commercial fund Partnership Investment Finance, taking its investment in the business to £500,000.
Shipley-based REM’s software allows businesses to monitor their energy consumption. It was established three years ago by managing director Kelvin Ager and currently has 15 staff.
Partnership Investment Finance is a £37 million investment fund that supports businesses in Yorkshire. It is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund and European Social Fund programmes.
