Swiss private equity firm Capvis has acquired leather furniture maker de Sede. The target company, also based in Switzerland, was bought from Hans-Peter Fässler and Bernhard Schüler for an undisclosed sum.
The deal expands Capvis’ furniture-manufacturing portfolio and is part of the owners’ succession plans. Fässler and Schüler retain operational responsibilities as well as a minority stake in the business.

Tschäni said: “We conducted legal due diligence, represented Capvis in the negotiations of the sale and purchase agreement vis-à-vis the sellers, and provided advice on regulatory matters, in particularly anti-trust law.”

Lenz & Staehelin is the largest law firm in Switzerland. It has an international outlook and many years of experience in advising in legal matters. The firm’s solution-orientated work method is founded on market and industry knowledge. From this base it provides legal advice that is both focused and personal.
