Infinis buys renewable energy company
Infinis, an independent generator of renewable power, has bought Summerleaze RE-Generation, which produces renewable energy from landfill gas, for £80 million.
The company was sold by Summerleaze, which was advised on the legal issues of the disposal by BP Collins.
BP Collins, which has advised the group since 1988, was led by partner Tim Walton with associates Diane Gill and Sue Deacon.
Walton said the firm’s experience of the sector and its relationship with Summerleaze’s decision-makers ensured an effective completion of the deal. “We look forward to working with Summerleaze as it continues to contribute to the UK’s energy requirements through its stated commitment to the development of existing and emerging technologies in the renewable industry.”
