Thornton Precision buys Clamonta
Components supplier Thornton Precision Components has strengthened the service it provides its aerospace clients after it bought Clamonta for £5.1 million.
Sheffield-based Thornton Precision, which is a subsidiary of NYSE-listed Symmetry Medical, supplies precision forgings, castings and machining to the orthopaedic, aerospace and power generation industries.
Nuneaton-based Clamonta has been supplying precision products to the global aerospace industry for 50 years.
