Oxford Genome's latest funding
Oxford Genome Sciences, a developer of personalised medicines, has completed its third fundraising in as many years as it continues the development of its cancer and Alzheimer’s disease therapies.
The undisclosed funding was arranged and managed by the South East Growth Fund (SEGF), which is making its third investment in the company. Other funders included existing investor Oxford Capital Partners with Catapult Growth Fund making the first investment from its new £30 million fund.
SEGF was led by principal Jason Gould, who said: “We supported this company in its infancy and are thrilled that it has developed into such an important business.
“This funding round provides an excellent platform from which the company can continue its rapid expansion and provide evidence of substantial cash reserves and corporate visibility to its long-term biotech/pharma partners,” he added.
