Private equity firm buys coach company
Chambers Coach Hire was established as a taxi service in 1967 by Derry-based businessman Des Chambers. Chambers remains with the business as an adviser following the sale of his shares.
Post-completion,
Chambers, which has a fleet of more than 100 vehicles, is on target for a £7 million turnover in the current financial year. The company has 65 full-time employees and is planning to add a further 30 drivers to its business.
